The wide twill tape was sprayed in a previous play session, just as an experiment. I think I may spray the black matboard and spray some more twill tape and give it a go.

Absolutely!I really like the scale of the tape with the book and love the stenciling. I vote YES!
Fantastic. I actually kind of like the black in contrast to the tape so if it were me I would just leave it like this. You really make me want to get some spray paint (and this from a woman who already has way to many art supplies!)
I'm also thinking I might leave the cover black. It might get too busy if I spray it too (although I plan to practice on my left over matboard.)
I think Gaye forgot she gave me the big roll of twill tape a long time ago. heeheehee...
And by the way, the little book is a similar to the one on the cover of a book called Re-Bound. They made theirs with credit cards or gift cards for covers. This one is a version Gaye came up with, with a little different stitching and some of her floor covering for covers! It's easier to make than it looks. (I'll remind myself of that when I start sewing on these big tapes...)
